Region 2 Run-Off Election Results
Due to the tied vote for Region 2
Representative, a run-off election was
held at the beginning of the year. The
new Region 2 Representative (taking
office in April) is Linda McHale.
2011 Elections
Nominations opened on March
1, 2011 for the following Midwives
Alliance Board positions:
- 2nd Vice President
- Treasurer
- Midwives of Color Seat Rep
- Region 4 Regional Rep
- Region 6 Regional Rep
All nominees must hold an individual
(not group) Midwife/Voting Midwives
Alliance continuous membership for at
least 12 months prior to the opening
of nominations (since at least March 1,
2010).
To nominate someone or yourself,
please send the name and e-mail address
of your nominee to me at <elections@mana.org>. Nominations close
on August 1, so get your nominations in
today!
In order to vote in this election, you
must have a current, Midwife/Voting
membership as of August 1, 2011.
