MANA is accepting submissions for poster presentations for the MANA 2018 Conference. The annual poster session at the MANA conference is hosted by the MANA Division of Research. For your poster to be considered, please complete the application form by July 30, 2018. You will be notified by August 30, 2018 if your poster was accepted. Learn more and apply here.
Poster Guidelines
Posters must conform to the guidelines outlined in the “MANA Poster Tips & Guidelines” document. This document also provides helpful tips for creating posters and resources to get started. Presenters whose poster abstracts are accepted will be responsible for their own travel, accommodation, conference registration fees and other expenses related to their poster presentations. Poster presenters will be provided with bulletin boards or wall space upon which to mount their posters. You must register for the conference and be available during your assigned poster presentation date/time. If accepted, a poster presentation contract must be signed to reserve your spot.
Poster Awards
All accepted posters will be considered for the Harris-Braun Outstanding Poster Award for Research. Posters will be entered into one of two (2) categories: student/apprentice poster and graduate/professional poster. An award will be given for the best poster in each category. Judging will be done by members of the MANA Division of Research.
- In the student/apprentice category, the winning student will receive a free year of membership to MANA, and the student’s school and advisor or preceptor and practice will also be recognized.
- In the graduate/professional category, the winning individual will receive a free year of membership to MANA, and the author’s institutional or practice affiliation as well as advisor or preceptor (if applicable) will also be recognized. In addition, the winner will receive a 30-minute phone consultation on the winning research project with an experienced researcher from the MANA Division of Research.
